The Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame is comprised of individuals who have been recognized for their outstanding excellence as professional speakers and dedication to the professional speaking industry by educating others to excel.
The award is given each year when warranted to an individual who demonstrates the principles of philanthropy and stewardship through their actions and outcomes.
This prestigious service award recognizes the substantial and sustained contribution to CAPS and its members.

2025 Warren Evans Spirit of CAPS Award
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Warren Evans Spirit of CAPS Award! All nominations, with supporting documentation, must be received at the CAPS office by 5:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, October 23, 2025. CAPS members may nominate other CAPS members for this award. An award committee consisting of Professional members and past Warren Evans Spirit of CAPS award recipients from across the country, chaired by Past President Beverly Beuermann-King, CSP, will make the final decision on who (if anyone) will receive the award. All members of CAPS are eligible, with the exception of members of the current National Board. All those on the Committee are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement. Award winner(s) will be honoured during the 2025 CAPS Convention in Halifax, NS! |

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Peter Legge Philanthropic Award. The nomination deadline is 5:00 p.m. ET, Thursday, October 23, 2025. As per the award guidelines, the nomination committee is comprised of Peter Legge as chair and the first recipient, a CAPS board member, a CAPS foundation board member, and two Chapter Presidents.
