He said, \u201cNathalie, you need to just be you, and you will do well. Everything else will take care of itself.\u201d He reminded me that when you naturally perform at a very high level, it is important to be mindful of how that affects others. He said, \u201cYou are exceptional at performing at a super high level, so make sure you never make people feel less because they are not at your level. Never make people feel like if they cannot keep up with you, they are somehow falling behind. Lead the way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What a powerful message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In our own businesses, we may sometimes be guilty of being highly productive and unintentionally making others feel inadequate because they do not operate at the same pace. The session is called Reinventing Your Life, Your Message, and Your Market with executive speaker coach Samantha Kris. It is all about expanding into new markets, and it is definitely one you will want to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am also continuing my chapter road trip. I usually speak on mindset and confidence, so of course I will still talk about the mindset required to sell and how to eliminate limiting beliefs around sales. We received more than 90 applications, and our programming team is now carefully reviewing every submission. Thank you to everyone who applied. I believe we may have broken a record for the number of speaker submissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A year ago, we asked for your feedback about convention timing and location. Many of you completed surveys and shared your preferences about whether convention should be held in summer or winter, on the East Coast or West Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We listened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That feedback is exactly why convention was scheduled for December and why it will be held near the Toronto airport. Two of the biggest priorities you shared were ease of access and affordability.
