President's Message
HELP, I'm speaking and I can't shut up!!
Do you have the BEST job in the world? Do you motivate, inform, entertain and engage audiences? Do you share your insight, ideas and inspiration with groups, associations or businesses locally or around the globe? If you answered yes to any, or all, of these questions you belong HERE, with the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS), Winnipeg Chapter! We are educating and connecting speakers, trainers and facilitators from across Manitoba and are the association of choice (not to mention a fun place to be!) for those who speak professionally.
Our monthy educational sessions are jam packed with professional development opportunities and that is only a small piece of the value you will receive from your CAPS membership. EVERYTHING you need to know about growing your speaking business can be found here whether you are an emerging speaker or a very spicey veteran (as opposed to a seasoned one!). It be the connections and networking opportunities you will make internationally, the monthly Speaker Magazine and CD's you will recieve monthly and especially the valued friendships you will make within CAPS that will assure you your membership dollar was very well spent. When I joined CAPS, I wrote the cheque very slowly, I wasn't sure if it was the right thing for me- but every year since then I cannot right the cheque quickly enough-my ROI is immeasurable!
Come to our next meeting and see what I mean. I personnally invite you to be our guest for an event that will be unlike any association meeting you have been to before. A wonderful bonus of this organization is that you will be stretched not only professionally but personally-you can thank me later!
