2009.01 President's Message
Our 2009 National President, Shelle Rose Charvet, has announced the theme “Take the Lead.” This theme is entirely appropriate in this challenging year as every CAPS member is indeed a leader.
I am honoured to be Toronto Chapter President and take the lead in pronouncing our theme “Engagement.”
Thanks to the excellent foundation created by our Past Presidents and certainly the amazing momentum generated by our immediate Past President, Michel Neray, it is time to look inward as we continue to offer practical and dynamic programming.
It is my firm conviction, supported both by your feedback, that we can all increase the success of our businesses by knowing each other better.

Your Board has been tasked with ensuring that the decisions we make in 2009 align with the theme of Engagement. The Board Members are working very hard right now to create meaningful programming as well as refine the systems and processes that ensure that volunteering is straightforward, rewarding and manageable as possible.
So, we ask three things of each of you; please contribute to our mutual success by participating in meetings, updating your CAPS Profile and volunteering a minimum of twice throughout the year. Those three actions will keep our momentum rolling!
